Festive Life Drawing Workshop Half day workshop

Date: Wednesday 10th December
Time: 10.00am -1.00pm
Join us for a morning of Festive Life Drawing with tutor Jess Miller. Fabulous model, Meghann, will be doing a variety of poses in a Festive setting. Starting with a warm-up of short poses, followed by a medium and long pose, you will learn to capture the figure in different forms. Please bring along your own art materials - we'll supply the mince pies! £45 for half day.

Festive Linocut Cards Workshop Full day workshop
Tutor: Charlotte Staunton
Date: Wednesday 10th December
Time: 10am-4pm
Join Charlotte Staunton for a day of Festive Cardmaking using the medium of Linocut. Linocut is a type of relief print in which the artist carves an image into a lino block and what's left of the block is inked and printed. Linocut is a playful medium and allows the artist to experiment with numerous inking techniques, using the same block, to produce a variety of beautiful results. In this workshop you will learn how to:

transfer your festive design onto a lino block

use cutting tools safely

cut a variety of marks and textures

experiment with inking techniques

register your print to create high quality greeting cards

Festive Portrait Workshop Half day workshop

Imaginative Printmaking with Recycled Materials Workshop

Explore the playful and experimental world of printmaking using reused Tetrapak cartons and other everyday scrap materials. Learn new skills while expressing your creative ideas. You will make original prints of your own design while having fun. No previous experience required.£45 for half-day.

Cardmaking Watercolour Workshop Half day workshop
