Clay Sculpture: Anatomy of the Head

Students will make a life-size skull and build the facial muscles on top. Starting with copying from a life size replica of a skull, and continuing with anatomical diagrams and photographs as reference material, students will develop their observational and modelling skills. Clay and modelling materials are included. Clay modelling tools will be available to purchase at the Art Stables if students do not have their own already. Some previous clay modelling experience would be beneficial, but is not essential. Suitable for all levels of experience. Course Materials included. £265 per 10 session term.
